Updated Parts & Service Hours

Due to COVID-19, please note that many Bruckner’s locations have updated Parts and Service operating hours for the foreseeable future.  Truck Sales hours remain the same.
We will have fewer employees on each shift to follow guidelines on social distancing. We appreciate your patience. Please be assured that we will continue to support you!

Bruckner’s Update on COVID-19 March 25, 2020

Our management team is communicating daily on decisions that help protect our teams in the environments which we work, while maintaining the essential needs of our customers. We are closely monitoring and following the guidance of the CDC as well as state and local governments. We are working hard to keep our regular operating hours and services. Currently all Bruckner locations remain open with some adjustments in store hours – updated here.
While the situation can change quickly, below are some of the steps we are taking:

  • Increased thorough cleaning of all work areas, counters, drivers lounge and restrooms.
  • Adjusted or moved work space areas to accommodate the recommended Social Distance requirement.
  • Expanded parts delivery area for customers with increased use of drop boxes.
  • ’Will Call’ parts orders via phone or email. Upon your arrival, we will load the parts to your vehicle.
  • Encourage the use of our Parts Quote form to check availability.
  • Encourage the use of our mobile repair service fleet.
  • Limited access in our buildings to customers and critical vendors only.
  • Divided service and parts departments into work groups with separate times, reducing the amount of contact exposure.
  • Additional measures taken to clean and disinfect high touch areas of customers’ trucks both before and after we enter/exit the vehicle.
  • Allowed a large number of employees to work from home

What Bruckner’s is Doing

At Bruckner’s, we are committed to doing our part to keep our employees and customers safe while conducting business with the Bruckner organization.
Here are some immediate action items Bruckner’s has implemented to help safeguard our customers:

  • Hand sanitizer available in all truck sales, parts & service departments and customer lounges.
  • Mandated increased thorough cleanings of customer lounges, parts/service countertops, and restrooms.
  • Expanded parts delivery area for customers and increased utilization of drop boxes to reduce public contact.
  • 10% off of freight costs through the end of March to reduce the need for your employees to travel in public. Possibility of extension as needed
  • ‘Will call’ parts orders via phone or email. Upon your arrival, we will bring the part to you from the warehouse and load it in your vehicles.
  • Expanded mobile fleet service coverage area for customers impacted by employee absences with a 5% labor discount through the end of March and will extend as needed. We would work with you to have the repair located somewhere on your property so we can make the repair and limit person to person exposure.

Volvo Trucks introduces new VHD

For vocational drivers, hard work is more than just an expectation – it’s a constant challenge. And for the toughest jobs, only the toughest trucks will do. But what if a truck is not only tougher than the rest, but also smarter? Volvo Trucks is proud to introduce the new Volvo VHD, engineered with the right balance of reliable strength, rugged looks and innovative technology to make this truck the new leader in vocational productivity.

The new Volvo VHD Vocational Series offers not only a fresh, modern look, but also the latest in safety and uptime solutions for vocational applications, providing a number of notable upgrades, including:
● An updated exterior gives a modern look that reflects the other models in the Volvo Trucks family. The VHD has a new grille design, as well as new LED high/low beam headlights. The fully sealed headlamp component offers a brighter, more focused beam for increased visibility. An available de-icing feature burns through ice and snow that accumulates on headlamps in colder weather.
● Groundbreaking safety and productivity features for the vocational industry include Volvo Dynamic Steering (VDS) and the next generation of Volvo Active Driver Assist (VADA). The VDS system delivers a safer, more comfortable driver experience by adding torque to reduce steering strain at low speeds and remove vibrations caused by rough terrain. Also, now available in the VHD, the next-generation VADA provides integrated radar/camera capabilities, automatic emergency braking, highway departure warnings, adaptive cruise control and more.
● A new, robust VHD bumper features a heavy-duty 45 mm tow pin rated for a full 80,000 pounds. Responding to customer requests, the rugged tow pin allows for a quick pull out of sticky situations thereby increasing uptime and drivers’ peace of mind.
● A state-of-the-art interior offers improved driver comfort and productivity. For example, the steering wheel buttons are more touch-friendly and clustered intuitively to help drivers feel more confident as they drive.

● Volvo I-Shift transmission with crawler gears adds one or two gears to the 12-speed Volvo I-Shift transmission, enabling the VHD to start on steep grades, provide low-speed control, and reach maximum highway speeds with faster rear axle ratios.
● Volvo T-Ride suspension delivers the best ride under the most demanding conditions by applying constant pressure on the wheels to create sure-footed traction. The Volvo T-ride suspension also offers a new ride stiffness option for mixers and trucks with wing plows.
● The latest in connectivity solutions such as Remote Programming and Remote Diagnostics allow customers to use real data insights to make the right decisions for increased safety and truck productivity.
