Touch a Truck DFW

2019 Touch-A-Truck DFW

On October 6, Bruckner’s dealerships in Dallas & Fort Worth were proud to serve as a sponsor for the 5th annual Touch-A-Truck DFW event benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Touch-A-Truck DFW is an exciting and family friendly event where children and adults have the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with community vehicles, trucks, machinery, and meet the men and women who protect, serve, and build the Dallas/Fort Worth community. Over 3,000 people explored the Mack and Volvo Trucks on hand.
Special thanks to Tom Tenseth and our DFW teams for leading our efforts and acting on the core value, “We value our people and our communities.”

Customer Appreciation Day – Dec. 24, 2018

On Monday, Dec. 24th, we wanted to thank all of our customers for their hard work and dedication during this holiday season. Trucking provides the greater majority of shipping services and movement of goods in the United States. More than 80 percent of U.S. communities rely solely on trucking for delivery of goods, which means that many drivers aren’t able to spend the holidays with their loved ones.

Bruckner’s acquires Advanced Onsite Service, LLC

Bruckner Truck Sales, based in Amarillo, Texas, has acquired Advanced Onsite Service, LLC that includes a truck repair shop, a trailer repair shop, and mobile service trucks out of Pineville, Louisiana.

“With this acquisition, we look forward to serving more customers in Louisiana. The fact that we are able to expand our own network of service centers and acquire a truck repair mobile service in the process, is a plus,” says Brian Bruckner, President, Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc.

Men in Front of Bruckner's

Happy 70th Anniversary, Mack Trucks!

B.M. “Bennie” Bruckner, Sr. started his company, Bruckner’s Garage, in 1932 during the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. He might have waited for better times to start the business but Bennie had lost his job and had a family to feed. He was very determined to succeed.

In 1948, Bennie contacted Mack Trucks and was awarded a Mack Trucks franchise.  At that time, he was one of the first Mack dealers west of the Mississippi River.  Bennie always saw the value of his team and worked to build them up.  He knew that hiring good people would lead to great customer service.

Despite only having a 4th grade formal education, Bennie had grit and determination. He passed these traits on to his son, Ben Bruckner, Jr, and his legacy continues with the 3rd generation, Brian and Chris Bruckner.

Long time Oklahoma City Mack and Volvo commercial truck dealer, Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of their newly completed dealership facility situated on 15 acres at 10120 West Reno Avenue. The facility faces south on I-40 with site access from Reno Ave., west of the I-40 and Morgan Road interchange (exit 140) allowing for easier truck traffic access. The 58,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art dealership offers greater service bay and parts warehouse capacity. In this one location, Bruckner’s will continue to offer new and used, truck and trailer sales along with truck rental and leasing. This new facility replaces Bruckner’s old location at 3824 West Reno Avenue. Stores hours and phone numbers remain the same.

“We are excited for our customers and employees,” says Bob Acker, General Manager for Bruckner Truck Sales in Oklahoma City. “A larger state-of-the-art facility combined with a convenient location and easy access will make things better for us and our customers!”

Bruckner's Donation

Bruckner’s Donates to Local Diesel Program

November 9, 2016 – Bruckner’s Truck Sales has donated a new 2016 diesel engine to the Amarillo College Kritser Diesel Program. The donated engine features the latest in diesel technology and is the same model used in current production.

“We are proud to support the local program with this donation,” said Brian Bruckner, President of Bruckner Truck Sales. “Many times, these training programs have older model year technology, but it is so important for them to have the newer engines, especially as the engines become more computerized and new regulations are implemented.”

Several Bruckner staff members were on hand of the presentation: Brian Bruckner President; Chris Bruckner Executive Vice President, Keith Martin Vice President of Parts & Service, Johnny Puckett Amarillo General Manager, Jay Craighead Amarillo Service Manager.
