B.M. “Bennie” Bruckner, Sr. started his company, Bruckner’s Garage, in 1932 during the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. He might have waited for better times to start the business but Bennie had lost his job and had a family to feed. He was very determined to succeed.

In 1948, Bennie contacted Mack Trucks and was awarded a Mack Trucks franchise. At that time, he was one of the first Mack dealers west of the Mississippi River. Bennie always saw the value of his team and worked to build them up. He knew that hiring good people would lead to great customer service.

Despite only having a 4th grade formal education, Bennie had grit and determination. He passed these traits on to his son, Ben Bruckner, Jr, and his legacy continues with the 3rd generation, Brian and Chris Bruckner.
